Within the framework of the TRAINPOST distance-learning programme, which is based on a simpler and more user-friendly training approach, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) offers the participant trainees several important courses in the programme. One of them is dealing with «Express Mail Service (EMS)». This course is made up of six modules.
Its aims is :
          (i) to provide officials working in post offices with knowledge and skills required for accepting, dispatching and delivering EMS items.
          (ii) to reinforce the knowledge of staff working in offices of exchange in the procedures relating to exchange of EMS.
          (iii) to equip the officials responsible for EMS with required skills to
                     a. improve quality of service in EMS
                     b. settle EMS accounts
