General Aims:

 To equip participants with a practical understanding of the security liaison role within the postal system and the development of a Postal Security Unit (PSU). The course covers defining mission and vision, conducting risk assessments, priorities and goal-setting, and best practices for structure, reporting levels, recruitment, and financial management to protect employees, customers, assets, and mail operations.

Target population:

 - Designated postal operators’ security liaisons and deputies postal managers and supervisors responsible for security policy and incident response.
- Staff involved in establishing or improving a postal security Unit (PSU) Compliance, risk, and operations personnel collaborating with security teams.

Requirements:
- Employment within a postal or related supply chain organization.
- Basic familiarity with postal operations and security concepts.
- No advanced prerequisites; prior exposure to security awareness or UPU standards is helpful.
