1. To enhance students’ awareness of the different types of disasters, their adverse impacts and the need for a robust disaster risk management (DRM) plan in every postal administration. 2. To impart the necessary knowledge of industry best practices and standardized procedures (e.g. DRM tools and products) and relevant skills to deal with disasters. 3. To enable students to develop their own DRM plan taking into account the specific circumstances of the country and specific events.
Inspectors/assistant inspectors of the head office (administration) and departments (branches), trainers, course developers.
Minimum 10 or 12 years of school education and 5 years of work experience in head office or branches.
