General Aims:
The course aims to provide postal employees and security personnel with knowledge and practical skills to protect postal revenues by preventing, detecting, and investigating fraudulent activities such as counterfeit stamps, illegal stamp issuance, stamp washing, and the misuse of philatelic products. The course also promotes an understanding of the Philatelic Code of Ethics and International Reply Coupons (IRCs) as tools for revenue protection and ensuring the integrity of postal correspondence.
Target population:
- Postal security and revenue protection specialists.
- Postal managers, investigators and compliance specialists.
- Personnel involved in stamp production, philatelic sales or fraud prevention.
- Trainers raising awareness about income protection.
Entry conditions:
- Employment with a designated postal operator or related supply chain role.
