General Aims:
i. To provide the personnel working in post offices, sortation offices and offices of exchange with the knowledge of handling dangerous goods and lithium batteries transmitted in mail.
ii. To equip the officials responsible for acceptance and handling of mail with required skills to identify dangerous goods.
iii. To impart to the personnel working in offices of exchange the knowledge of the action to be taken when dangerous goods are found in the mail.
