Objectifs généraux:

To enable staff of designated postal operators to become familiar with the principles, key regulations, processes, forms, standards, and «best practices» of postal transportation and transit.

Public cible:

 Postal managers responsible for, or managing staff involved with, operational network planning including routing of postal dispatches, airline accounting, transit arrangements, quality of service, etc.

This is a course for persons familiar with air transportation of mail. They will be functional or senior managers within a Designated Operator. They will have significant experience in postal matters and typically a university degree.

 

 

Conditions d’accès:

 Participants are expected to have read the Postal Transport Guide.

Participants are expected to bring a number of receptacle labels from various countries, collected from their inward office of exchange.
Participants are expected to send their current routing plan for airmail destined to all countries to the course instructor in advance, and also to bring a copy to the course.
